| Greek Independence Day Celebration - March 25, 2008 |
| On March 25, 2008, Greeks everywhere celebrated the 187th anniversary of Greek Independence. Our community enjoyed many different celebrations including a program put on by the children of our Greek School on the Sunday before, a proclamation being read at the Newport City Hall where the Greek flag proudly flew and at the program at the State House in Providence and reception following at the Pawtucket church where our dancers performed and made us very proud! Zito H Ellas!!
